I have also been working to put more relevant book resources on the Earthseed Detroit Youtube Channel. I recently was able to read and review a valuable contribution to our ethnobotanical history, Folk Wisdom & Mother Wit - John Lee, African American Herbal Healer by Arvilla Payne-Jackson and John Lee. I had to order it through the library loan department but I enjoyed it a lot so check out the video!
I am also sharing books that have insight and wisdom on our folklore, spiritual practices, recipes and more. Sassafrass, Cypress & Indigo By Ntozake Shange is one of my favorite books and I happened to find this amazing copy in a used book store! Learn more about it in the video!
